Eligibility Criteria

The DCAD Residency Program is open to fashion designers at various stages of their careers, from undergraduates to mid-career professionals.

Key eligibility requirements include:

Educational Background: Applicants should either be current undergraduates or hold a bachelor’s degree in fashion design or a related field.

Technical Skills: Candidates should possess fundamental technical skills such as sewing, pattern-making, garment construction, and fabric innovation.

Focus: The program is specifically geared towards women aged 21 and up, living in the UAE and Abu Dhabi region.
